Summer Camp August – Summer in the City
At the summer camp in August, we offer a unique experience for your children aged 8 to 12 years. We cordially invite them to develop and expand their creativity in our art camps. With exciting workshops around printing workshops, drawing, painting and creative projects as well as inspiring excursions to parks and museums, there is the perfect opportunity for everyone to immerse themselves in the world of art. Although it is a day camp without overnight stays, our goal is to provide a memorable and enriching experience that nurtures your children’s artistic skills in a friendly, supportive and safe environment. At Urban Art Kids, we value an atmosphere that supports creativity, community, and individual expression. We believe that art plays a crucial role in children’s development and want to give them the space to discover and develop their unique talents.

August 26+27, 2024City animals made of papier-mâché: In the workshop we will learn to create city animals out of papier-mâché. We will have fun painting them and creating an alternative urban environment. Comic Workshop: This comic workshop provides an introduction to the world of comics, from the basics of drawing to creating your own short stories. Creativity and imagination are the focus. August 28, 2024: Sketching in the Park: Capture the beauty of the city through sketches and develop your drawing skills. August 29, 2024:Printing workshop with screen printing: In this printing workshop, participants learn the basics of screen printing and create their own prints on different materials. Creativity and craftsmanship are in the foreground. Designing spatula animals: Create imaginative animals with palette knife techniques and express your creativity. August 30, 2024: Printing workshop with screen printing: In this printing workshop, participants will learn the basics of screen printing and create their own prints on different materials. Creativity and craftsmanship are in the foreground. Frottage Workshop: Frottage is a creative technique in which structures and surfaces are transferred to paper by rubbing. With simple tools such as pencils or wax crayons, exciting textures and patterns can be created. Final exhibition: Presentation of the resulting works of art and joint conclusion of the week. Note: We reserve the right to change the course content at short notice if necessary.
