During the autumn holidays, we are again offering varied camps at Urban Art Kids. You can choose from an intensive course in digital drawing with ProCreate, a manga drawing course and our versatile creative camp. The children can develop their creativity and discover new artistic techniques.

Mangas fascinate children and young people worldwide with their striking figures, lively movements and imaginative stories. In our five-day drawing course for 10 to 14-year-olds, participants discover how an idea can be turned into their own manga character step by step – from the first lines to the expressive figure.

Tablets and drawing programs open up completely new ways to bring ideas to life. In our digital drawing course for 10 to 14-year-olds, participants learn how to create their own figures, scenes and illustrations on the iPad – from the first sketch to the colourful work of art. The course is held in German and is suitable for anyone who wants to try out or deepen their creativity with digital tools.

During the autumn holidays, the Urban Art Kids Gallery opens its doors for a creative camp! For one week, children between the ages of 8 and 12 can try out new techniques, experiment with colours and paper collages and create their own works of art.

We start the new school year creatively! From September 15th, we invite you again to our popular weekly courses. Whether manga or digital drawing, creative design or our mini studio for preschoolers and school beginners – we have something for all creative minds!

New in the program: Our animation workshop on Monday! Here, children learn the basics of animation in a playful way and bring their own ideas to life.

Whether flexible with a 10-class card or permanently as an Urban Art Kids Club member – secure your place and become part of our colorful community!

In our weekly animation course , children discover the fascinating world of moving images – in a playful, creative way and with plenty of room for their own ideas. Whether made of clay, in shadow play or digitally on a tablet: This is where your own small films are created week after week – from the first concept to the premiere on the big screen.

To the course

In our Mini Atelier we go on a creative journey of discovery! Week after week, the children immerse themselves in distant countries, colourful animal worlds and exciting cultures. Using paints, paper, scissors and brushes, they design elephants from India, parrots from the rainforest, folding fish from Japan and much more – without a passport, but with a lot of curiosity and joy.

In our creative workshop , children from the age of 8 discover the exciting world of design with new and classic techniques! Whether with 3D pens into the third dimension, needle and thread for embroidery, printing on textiles or seasonal decoration projects – the focus here is on the joy of do-it-yourself. Together we try out modern tools and traditional handicraft techniques – always with room for your own ideas and creative experiments.

In this creative course, we will discover the colourful world of art together – child-friendly, playful and full of imagination! Week after week, the children get to know famous artists and their special styles: We dab dots like Yayoi Kusama, paint colorful animals like Henri Rousseau or experiment with colors like Paul Klee.

This weekly drawing course is all about the exciting topic of perspective – a central element in manga and anime that gives images depth, dynamism and atmosphere.

The course is ideal for anyone who wants to develop creatively and develop their manga drawings – with or without previous knowledge.

This weekly course offers an exciting introduction to the world of digital drawing – and just as much room for further development for children and young people who have already gained their first experience with Procreate.

Together we explore the versatile possibilities of the iPad app Procreate – from simple drawing tools to creative special functions such as animation, brush design or typography. Each week, the focus is on a new topic, in which design basics and digital technology are playfully combined.
