Autumn holidays: Creative Camp

During the autumn holidays, the Urban Art Kids Gallery will once again be transformed into a colourful studio!

From October 27–31, 2025, the Urban Art Kids Gallery will once again open its doors for a colorful art camp.

What can the children expect?

Five days full of art, colours and ideas! We try out different techniques – from drawing and painting to creative collages with paper and designing with a wide variety of materials. The focus is on the fun of trying things out and the joy of creating one’s own work of art.

Who is the camp suitable for?

For all children who want to live out their creativity and discover new things – no previous knowledge is necessary.

Special highlights

Upcycling with textiles Old fabrics, buttons, and ribbons are transformed into new figures—here you can learn how to turn “old” items into something completely unique.

Monoprint workshop Create your own unique prints! With colours, stencils and the joy of experimentation, small works of art are created here that only exist once in the world.

Excursion to the Botanical Garden or the Futurium We gather inspiration in the midst of exotic plants or futuristic exhibitions – with sketchpads and eyes open for shapes, colours and unusual ideas.

Comic and Kawaii Drawing From expressive faces to cute characters, you’ll learn how to bring characters to life with simple strokes, whether as classic comic book heroes or in cute kawaii style.

Paper collages with watercolor technique Cutting, gluing, painting over paper – and suddenly something completely new becomes from seemingly simple material. We combine collages with delicate watercolors for special effects.

Gouache on canvas This opaque, bright colour makes every brushstroke a highlight. We experiment with colours, layers and effects – in the end you take your own picture home with you on real canvas.

Final exhibition On the last day, we will turn the gallery into an exhibition: all the artworks will be presented, and parents are welcome to admire the creative results.
