Summer holidays: Girls Code & Create: creative programming camp

Discover the fascinating connection between art and programming! In our creative programming camp especially for girls aged 10 and over, you will learn the basics of programming with the Calliope microcomputer and the MakeCode programming platform. From August 19 to 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., we will turn programming ideas into real projects.

What can you expect?

• Learn programming: You will be introduced to the basics of programming step by step. Whether you are a beginner or already advanced – we have exciting tasks for every level.
• Programming games: We develop various games together, including the popular Twister game. Here you can let your creativity run wild and bring your own game to life.
• Building and programming music boxes: A highlight of the course is building and programming your own music box. Learn how to combine hardware and software to create something unique.

Organizational

• Date: August 19 to 21, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Target group: Girls from 10 years old, both beginners and advanced
• Materials: All the necessary materials, including Calliope mini microcomputers, are provided. If you own a Calliope, feel free to bring it with you.
• Cost: 135 euros per participant
