Description
Of course, if the old year is as worn out as Bosco’s super wool pyjamas, then a new one is needed. And for the turn of the year, the Rübe family has a tried-and-tested ritual: they saddle the donkey Olga and sing songs through the night. It smells of fuses and rockets and it tingles in the stomach. First, they play a round of ballalala and throw away everything that absolutely has to stay in the old year. Then it’s off to the forest to the elder witches, where they bury cookies at night and light a glow.
An extremely grumpy New Year’s Eve celebration for all those who were already four years old — drawn by Tine Schulz, of course. Great fun with the Rübe family and real fireworks.
After Sleeping Like Turnips and Bosco Turnip, the third part of the series about the Rübe family is now racing through the year.
