The garden of my alphabet

The garden of my alphabet

After the summer holidays, we are pleased to present the exhibition “The Garden of My Alphabet” by the artist Vastiane Tamayo Gomez at Urban Art Kids.

Garden is a term that refers to a plot of land on which plants are grown for ornamental and decorative purposes. It is a flower garden designed to beautify a particular place. In the garden you can find a variety of plants to which we humans have given names. These form a lively collection, as does our alphabet.

“The Garden of My Alphabet” arose from the desire to represent each letter as if it were in its own garden. As well as in its own imaginary space and time to enjoy an eternal spring day. The exhibition consists of a series of 28 drawings created by hand with acrylic paint and crayons on high-quality paper. Production began as part of the Urban Art Kids Residency at the end of 2021.
