Fun & Games with Code: Girls Programming with Calliope

Discover the magical world of programming with our special workshop – exclusively for girls aged 8 and up! Our unique course invites young explorers to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of coding, whether they have already taken their first steps in programming or are completely new to this exciting universe.

In this interactive workshop, we will discover together how much fun programming can be. With the child-friendly Calliope mini microcomputer, we immerse ourselves in a world where creativity and technology go hand in hand. Our participants learn to write their own little programs that flash lights, play music or even control simple games.

Each workshop is specially designed to convey learning content in a playful way in a friendly and supportive environment. We not only want to promote technical skills, but also strengthen self-confidence in one’s own abilities. Girls are encouraged to think creatively, solve problems, and learn the basics of programming in the process.

Our experienced course instructors accompany the participants step by step through the exciting world of programming. The focus is on having fun – because we believe that the best way to learn is to enjoy what you do.

What your child should bring with them: Curiosity, creativity and the desire to learn something new. All necessary materials and tools are provided by us.

Prior knowledge: Not required. Children with previous knowledge are also welcome!

We recommend that you bring your own Calliope. This way, you can apply what you have learned directly at home and continue practicing. Don’t worry if you don’t already have one – let us know and we’ll be happy to help.
