Berlin Love – EXTENDED
The exhibition Berlin Love in our partner location k_eins revolves around sights of the capital and its so-called neighborhoods. The international artists Kaitlyn Parker and Jana Polak deal in their own way with the love for their adopted home Berlin.
Parker’s motifs show famous sights of Berlin such as the Reichstag, TV Tower, Brandenburg Gate, Memorial Church, Victory Column or Oberbaumbrücke. Her works of art are complemented by colorful patterns or splashed with acrylic paint. Polak likes to observe the people in their districts or neighborhoods. What does a typical resident of Prenzlauer Berg look like? What is he/she wearing? So the study continues over the districts: Mitte, Kreuzberg, Neukölln, Kreuzberg and Charlottenburg.
Overall, the exhibition gives the two artists a very personal view of Berlin with its colorful diversity.
The exhibition can be visited during the opening hours from k_eins from Wednesday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
